The book came out last Monday. I haven't posted it before this because the week's been weird.

I haven't really slept all week, I didn't sleep Sunday night at all, after I saw the link go live at Dreamspinner.

And I'm waiting for my copies to show up, so that I might actually sit down and read it as a book.

I heard back from Samhain Publishing, another email, thank you but no thank you. That's two in a row from them, both for Anthologies. Good thing was that it was fast, I had shipped it off to them on the Monday and it's just Friday. Bad thing, is the no and don't bother us again with this manuscript rule that they have.

Sad thing is that I'm not too upset. I think I'm supposed to crushed by this. I'm not, curious to see why it didn't click with them, but not too upset. I was more upset when I didn't get into the last Y-Con anthology. I'm just annoyed and wondering if I should bother with them again, because this is the second rejection from them.

Gods I'm now beginning to think that my Dreamlands submission is a fluke, like I caught them on a bad day or that they pity published me. Kind of like a pity fuck, but different.

Now I get to debate on who else I'm throwing this puppy at, cause it's not a bad story, just didn't go the way that I planned for the entire thing.

I just submitted a novella to Samhain's Space Opera anthology.

I hope that it gets into the collection. I spent most of my summer vacations writing this, because Most of June and July weren't productive at all for me.

I don't know if I'll submit a lot of things to these people, mainly because I'm a book rather than an ebook type of gal. I know that it the world of small press, that's really limiting, but I like the smell and feel of a book in my hands.

I got the edited manuscript back from Dreamspinner. I've done most of the changes, have a couple of more tweaks to do and then will send it back to them.

I'm started to get excited about it now.

I know that I've been behind in doing this :-(

I haven't been excited about this for a number of personal reasons, but my family's been making up for it. Seriously, it's kind of scary.

Will post the finished cover and a publication date when I have one.
